LANDSCAPING for WILDLIFE

WAXWING ASSOCIATES offers plans for landscaping your backyard and improving habitat for wildlife.  Many of us consider our backyards as our own little retreat and enjoy seeing birds and small animals live near our homes.  Many improvements can be done to encourage wildlife to adopt our yard areas as their little niche for survival.  Among these are planting a variety of trees, shrubs, and grasses that serve as food sources and protected places to hide from predators.  Providing a source of water is a big attractor that is a necessity for all wildlife.

The owner and associates have successfully landscaped their own backyards to attract wildlife and eliminate many hours of lawn mowing.  Landscaping for wildlife provides a much more interesting landscape than a green 2” lawn that is expensive to maintain with time and fertilizers.  We will prepare a plan for you and recommend native plant species to plant for wildlife that provides food and cover the natural way.
